In what was one of the biggest Giving Tuesdays in Daviess County, the winner was our community, as the day ended with a total of $14,123 in contributions from 61 donors for our non-profits and local groups yesterday. Our Community Foundation led the drive, and the response was amazing. The winner of “George” the Giving Horse from Shake Broadcasting will be announced Friday on the radio. George will go to the group that raised the most funds yesterday. Thank you to all who contributed this year and helped us reach our goal of $14,000 in Daviess County.
