2024 Reservations will be accepted starting next week for campers at West Boggs Park. Beginning Monday, January 9th, reservations will be available for INPERSON ONLY at the GATEHOUSE! Arrive between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to receive a ticket. Beginning at 8:30, tickets will be drawn for people to come to the windows and make reservations! Anyone who arrives after 8:30 will be helped once all tickets have been called. No phone calls will be answered until after 1 p.m. The portal will be opened on January 10th, along with in-person and over-the-phone reservations. Park officials remind campers not to call the office to make a reservation. Call 812-295-3421 and choose option 1 for the gatehouse.
West Boggs will also conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, January 10th, at 7 p.m. at Dinky’s to discuss the West Boggs Lake Watershed Diagnostic Study. The event is sponsored by the Daviess-Martin Joint County Parks and Recreation Department. A featured speaker will be Dr. Jerry Sweeten with the Ecosystems Connections Institute. All residents of the West Boggs Water Shed and friends of West Boggs Park are encouraged to attend.
