Aaron Eugene Mason, formally of Spurgeon, born Sept. 8th, 1982, in Huntingburg, IN to Susie (Oakman) Miley and Dale E. Mason, passed away in Knox Co. on January 15, 2023. He attended Pike Central High School and was the President of the Union at Farbest. He loved to spend time outdoors with his kids, 4-wheeler riding, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. You could always count on him to be coming out of the woods in the spring with a bag full of Morel mushrooms.
Aaron leaves behind, his 4 children, Daley, Madeline, Kennedy, and Clint Eugene Mason whom he loved with all his heart. His Mom and Pops, Susie and Bryan Miley. Sister and Brother-in-law Ashley and Jarrod Gideon, and nieces Kady and Karly Gideon, all from Petersburg. Aaron’s girlfriend Brandi McGauley and her daughter Aleecia, both of Knox Co. and the mother of his Children, Ferran Mason. He also leaves behind several aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Dale E Mason. Maternal Grandparents, Don and Emma McDaniel. Paternal Grandparents, Edith and Arville Rainey and Eugene Mason. Along with several uncles and Cousins.
Services for Aaron will be held 2 PM EST on Saturday, January 21, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Pastor Don Fausnaugh will be officiating, and burial will take place at New Liberty Cemetery in Coe, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
