63-year-old Daniel Walls from Evansville, Indiana was arrested Thursday on charges of rape, criminal confinement, battery, and possession of a firearm with a prior domestic battery conviction.
The victim, a missing girl, was found inside Walls apartment with visible injuries after an anonymous call was made to the police.
Walls admitted to drug and alcohol use but claimed he thought the victim was homeless and that he was the one being held against his will.
The victim reported that Walls sexually assaulted her multiple times and physically abused her after she refused his advances.”
