Draper Expands Operations to Crane with New Office Focused on Microelectronics Research and Development for U.S. Department of Defense

Draper, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit engineering innovation company, is expanding its operations to Indiana. The company announced the opening of a new office at the WestGate@Crane Technology Park in Odon, with a focus on microelectronics research and development and strategic programs for the U.S. Department of Defense and the nearby Naval Surface Warfare Center. The new office will be led by Duane Embree, a former executive director of the Indiana Office of Defense Development. The company is currently hiring for 12 engineering positions at the new office. Draper has been providing engineering services and technology development to NSWC Crane for over a decade. The company employs 1,800 people across its locations in Alabama, Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
