The historic Indiana Theater in downtown Washington will have new operators beginning next month. Brent Barnhart with KJB Theaters made the announcement yesterday. Barnhart has operated The Indiana since 2014, after an extensive remodel. Barnhart thanked the local community for their support over the past years and says the theater will continue to run under new local ownership. Dusty Davis, Ryan Dashner, and Sean Terry will take over operations next month, giving it local ownership for the first time in decades. According to Barnhart, the transition will be seamless, and the new owners intend to add even more exciting things in the future, such as live concerts and events on the Main floor, as well as continuing to offer great first-run movies, popcorn, and snacks. The new ownership will begin on April 6th.
