The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents of the latest scam making its way into the area. Residents are reporting calls stating that if they do not pay an outstanding bond, a warrant will be issued for their arrest. This is a scam. The office reminds residents they do not issue calls with threats for not paying bonds. If you receive one of these calls, please contact the department.
