The fence is now up around the new Washington Commons area coming soon to downtown Washington. Please remember parking is limited around the area as work begins for the next nine months. The official ground breaking for the new Commons area will be Thursday morning, March 23, at 9 a.m. Officials hope to have the job completed by the end of the year.
