Dwight D. Moore, 68, passed away at 10:30 am on March 14, 2023 at The Villages at Oakridge with his loving family by his side. Dwight was born on June 27, 1954 in Washington and is the son of Russell T. and Norma Jean (Phillips) Moore. Dwight married Bonnie Corn on July 24, 1976.

Dwight was a graduate of Barr Reeve High School, attended Vincennes University and worked as a conductor-brakeman for CSX Railroad for many years. He also attended Antioch Bible Church. Dwight’s hobbies include hunting, golfing, woodcarving, riding his Harley Davidson, bee keeping and taking care of purple martins.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Moore of Washington; sons, Brayton Moore and his significant other Jennifer Robinson of Winslow, Tyrell Moore of Washington; sister, Claudia Murray and her husband Kim of Washington; brother, Chuck Moore and his wife Nerissa of Rising Sun, IN; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Edwards and her husband Brian, Terry Murray and his wife Melissa, Alicia Riester and her husband Chris, Joshua Moore and his wife Priscilla, Tamara Rieman and her husband Nathan, Melissa Yoder and her husband Rich, Billy Roberts and his wife Vicki; cousin, Bobby Spaulding and his wife Susan; and several great nieces and nephews. Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, Russell T. and Norma Jean Moore, sisters Marjorie Carrico and her husband Jim, Peggy Roberts, and his nephew Jimmy Carrico.
