A three-vehicle crash on Highway 50 at the state line caused a massive traffic jam in Lawrence County, Illinois. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, a semi-truck driven by Doug Duncan of Merom, Indiana, failed to slow down while entering a construction zone, crashing into a car driven by Dionne Commens of Dale, Indiana. The impact also struck Kristal Tewell’s car, who was driving the third vehicle. Kyle Gosnell, a passenger in Tewell’s car, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted for medical attention. Further details about the accident have yet to be disclosed.
