The Daviess County YMCA Board of Directors announced yesterday the winner of the Bill Summers Scholarship. The recipient was Isaac Mozingo, a senior at Washington High School who will attend the IU Kelley School of Business next year. Mozingo has been active at WHS in the CEO Program, as well as with BPA and other groups. The scholarship of $1425 will be used to help with books and other expenses for his first year at college in the name of Bill Summers. The scholarship was put together this year thanks to donations from board members in honor of Bill Summers, a longtime active member of the YMCA Board of Directors.
