The Daviess County Museum in Washington, IN, will feature the Indiana Historical Society’s traveling exhibit, “Be Heard: Latino Experiences in Indiana,” from May 3 to June 1 during normal operating hours. Admission is free. The exhibit presents stories of Latino individuals who reflect on their cultures and contributions to local communities and Indiana as a whole throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Through photographs, oral histories, letters, newspapers, and other documents, the exhibit offers a glimpse into the history of Latino settlement in Indiana and its impact on the state.
