Last night, at approximately 7:53 p.m., the Vincennes Police Department responded to reports of gunshots in the vicinity of Lester Square. Authorities initiated an investigation, revealing that a vehicle had pulled up to the intersection of 9th and Church, where a passenger fired multiple shots. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Witnesses came forward, providing crucial information, while vital evidence was meticulously gathered at the scene, and law enforcement successfully identified a juvenile suspect believed to be involved in the incident. Shortly before midnight, the suspect was apprehended and placed under custody at the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village.
