After an impressive 28 years of commitment to the North Daviess Community School Corporation (NDCSC), Mr. Scott Helms bids a fond farewell as he embarks on a well-deserved retirement. Having dedicated a remarkable three decades to the field of education, Helms leaves behind a remarkable legacy. Beginning his tenure as a school administrator at North Daviess High School, Helms transitioned to the role of elementary physical education (PE) teacher when the elementary school was established in 2002. Known as “Coach Helms,” the retiring educator was not only an instructor but also a respected varsity football coach for numerous years. Colleagues and community members have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for his tireless efforts and positive impact on the NDCSC.
