The Corning Heritage Center is hosting a series of genealogy programs, starting with the first session on June 3rd. Come to Curran House between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. for an open house in the McDonald room. Local genealogist Erin Doyle will be available to assist you with your research and explore our library resources. Later in the evening, at 6 p.m., attendees will convene at Celtic Hall for a presentation by Erin on the basics of family research for those who are new to genealogy. If you’re a beginner and want to learn how to start building your family tree, this session will provide valuable information and fresh ideas. For a list of upcoming genealogy programs throughout the year, visit the Corning Heritage Center website. Stay tuned for more exciting events on September 20th and April 8, 2024, including an eclipse-related program. If you have any questions, please contact Erin Doyle at 812-482-1650.
