A warrant service operation conducted on June 6 led to the arrest of two individuals and the discovery of methamphetamine. Master Trooper Trey Lytton, in collaboration with the United States Marshal Service, received information about a wanted person residing at a Troy, IN, residence on 610 Harrison St. Troopers, and officials arrived at the location, and efforts were made to communicate with the occupants, but they initially refused to come out. Eventually, Shannon L. Jones emerged from the residence and was apprehended for her outstanding Kentucky warrant. Shortly after, Tyler E. Griffith also exited and was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Perry County. While at the scene, M/Trooper Lytton suspected drug-related activities within the residence, and a search warrant was obtained for the property. During the search warrant, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, which were under the control of Shannon L. Jones. It was revealed that Jones had attempted to flush methamphetamine and pills down the toilet.
