New details have emerged about a police chase that spanned two counties, resulting in “several” injuries. According to Indiana State Police, the pursuit began in Sullivan when authorities began chasing a stolen vehicle occupied by two missing juveniles. The chase continued into Knox County, resulting in a collision with another vehicle on US 41 near Oaktown. Emergency services responded to the scene, and a medical helicopter was called to transport the injured. A state police team is currently reconstructing the crash to understand the sequence of events. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has reported that while there were no life-threatening injuries, “all suspects are in custody.”
