On Thursday, detectives with the Washington Police Department were requested to investigate a sexual assault. 42-year-old Benjamin Hise was arrested on charges of rape and intimidation by means of a deadly weapon. Officers reported seizing multiple firearms during the investigation. Hise is being held without bond at the Daviess County Security Center.

39-year-old Michelle Renee Lasky, from Lewisville, Indiana, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff on a charge of failure to appear. Bond was set at $2500.
