The Republican candidates competing in the May 7th primary in Indiana will debate on stage tonight at 7 p.m. on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis. Scheduled to appear are: U.S. Senator. Mike Braun; Brad Chambers, former president of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. under Gov. Eric Holcomb; Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch; Eric Doden, former president of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. under Gov. Mike Pence; former Attorney General Curtis Hill; and Jamie Reitenour. According to a release from the Indiana Debate Commission, U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) pulled out of the Indiana Debate Commission’s 2024 debate Monday night because the senator will be in Washington, D.C., to take part in a vote. The release did not specify which measure the senator would be voting on.  There is a chance he will return on time if the vote finishes on time. The vote is scheduled for 1 p.m. today.
