Join the Daviess-Martin CISMA and the Washington Conservation Club for a volunteer weed wrangle to control invasive plants in Washington. The Weed Wrangle will be held on Saturday, May 18th, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Washington Conservation Club, 350 W 150 S, Washington. Volunteers will identify and remove invasive shrubs and vines that threaten parks and natural areas. While RSVPs aren’t required, volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and work gloves. Water will be provided, along with hand tools, but volunteers can bring their own loppers or hand saws. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.
