The Daviess County Fair is fast approaching, with this year’s event being held June 17-21. The Daviess County Fair Queen Pageant will be on Tuesday, June 17th on the stage at the fairgrounds, and organizers of the pageant are seeking contestants to be the next Fair Queen. Interested individuals need to apply by May 13th. The event coordinators will be hosting an information night for anyone interested in joining the pageant tomorrow night at the fairgrounds at 6pm. You can learn more, ask questions, and submit your applications and the $100 entry fee to compete. The winning candidate will receive a $1000 scholarship and the chance to represent Daviess County at the State Fair. You must be between the ages of 18 and 21 and a Daviess County resident. Make plans to come out tomorrow night and join the competition.
