Nature enthusiasts are invited to West Boggs Park on Thursday, June 26 at 7 p.m. for a free Pollinator Walk hosted by the Daviess-Martin Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA). Guest speaker Olivia Fry of Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever will guide participants through the park’s prairie areas, identifying native plants and wildflowers while discussing their role in supporting pollinators and wildlife. The one-hour walk begins at the Cedarwood Shelter just inside the park entrance. While the event is free, those staying to enjoy other park amenities must pay the $7 daily entrance fee. Attendees are encouraged to dress for outdoor conditions. For more information, contact Emily Finch at 812-329-0048 or visit www.westboggs.com.
