Daviess Community Hospital Celebrates Nursing Excellence at 2025 Reception

Daviess Community Hospital honored its nursing staff during the 2025 Nurse Reception held May 9. The annual event celebrated nurses and support staff who exemplify the hospital’s core values. The event featured remarks from hospital leadership and recognized recent nursing graduates, staff who earned new certifications, and standout team members. Kathy Graber, CNA, received the 2025 Pillar Award for her exceptional patient care and teamwork. The DAISY Award was presented to Jordan Davis, RN, and Maci Briggeman, RN, for their outstanding service and compassionate care. Brianna Helms, RN, was named Inpatient Nurse of the Year for her mentorship, while Jacqueline Barber, RN, received Outpatient Nurse of the Year. Chief Nursing Officer Jenna Bedwell closed the ceremony by highlighting the vital role nurses play in the hospital’s mission, calling them “healers, mentors, and difference-makers.” Staff and guests gathered afterward for a reception to celebrate the honorees and the nursing team.
