The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that 6th Street in Vincennes will reopen to traffic on Friday, May 23, as part of the ongoing improvement project near Good Samaritan Hospital. As the project advances, Willow Street will close beginning Tuesday, May 27. The closure will span from 6th Street to just before 10th Street and is expected to last around three weeks, weather permitting. During this phase, hospital officials advise the public that access to Good Samaritan’s Main Entrance will remain open via 6th Street to Prairie Street or Willow Street to 10th Street to Prairie Street.
