Yesterday at approximately 11:00am, Officers were notified that a missing 14 year old female was possibly in the Paoli area. Officer Garrison then located the female at a local motel with a 20 year old male. Officers were given information that a sexual assault may have occurred. The male was detained on scene. Detective Z. Cook was then called in and through a thorough interrogation was able to get a full confession from the male. It was determined that over the course of 4 days the male had performed various sex acts with the juvenile. mThe juvenile was transported to the hospital for treatment and care. The male was transported the Orange County Jail and booked. He was charged on the following. Shane Messer, 20, was arrested on charges of Rape, Sexual Misconduct with a minor, Criminal Confinement, and Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
