James L. Cundiff, 66, of Williams, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his residence.
Born February 22, 1959, he was the son of Loval and Gladys (Honeycutt) Cundiff.
James attended Shoals High School.
He married Elizabeth Day on April 21, 2002, and she survives.
James retired from C&H Limestone after many years.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and fixing lawnmowers and chainsaws.
James was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ and the Shoals Eagles.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; children, Steven (Heather) Cundiff, Timothy (Kelly) Cundiff, and their mother, Doreen Jackson; step-children, Shannon Hobbs, Paul Hobbs, and David (Pearl) Hobbs; grandchildren, Taylor (Jessica) Cundiff, Lexi (Ronnie) Tucker, Lillian and Avery Cundiff, Morgan Disbro, and Liv Hobbs; great-grandson, Darran Cundiff; sister, Trish (Dale) Boyd; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Ladybug and Bean.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Wayne Cundiff, Les Cundiff, Ruby Staggs, and Nancy Sexton.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Dustin Staggs officiating.
