Tony Lee Grannan, 68, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at Daviess Community Hospital. Tony was born on September 9, 1956, in Washington, Indiana the son of Donald Ray Cissell and Violet (Tinnie) Allen Boger.
Tony was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on the USS Blandy. He retired in October 2021 from NAVFAC Crane as a high-voltage leader and was a Lineman for Washington City Light and Power for 30 years. Tony was an avid golfer and attended the Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Family left to cherish memories of Tony are his mother, Violet (Tinnie) Boger of Washington, IN; daughters Heather Lindley (fiancé Daniel) of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and Selena Brimer (fiancé Devan) of Savannah, TN; son Tony Ray Grannan of Loogootee, IN, and adopted son, Cody Grannan of Arizona; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Donald Grannan of Clearwater, FL; sisters Rhonda (Patrick) Simpson of Glen Rock, PA, and Glenda (Phil) Cissell Spicer of Hendersonville, NC; several nieces and nephews and beloved girlfriend, Mary Riggins.
Tony is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Cissell, adopted father Edward P. Grannan, and his stepfather, Jerry Boger.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 12220 East St. Rd. 58, Odon, with Adam Cissell officiating. Tony will be laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon at a later date.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
