Real Recovery’s Anthony Community Funding for the Unhoused has received an $858 grant from Our Community Foundation’s 2025 Fast Grant Program. The funds will provide emergency motel stays and limited transportation for people experiencing homelessness in Daviess County. Founded by Trudy Drew in memory of her brother, the program partners with local hotels to offer short-term shelter for individuals in crisis, particularly after hours when other services are unavailable. With no homeless shelter currently in the county, the initiative serves as a critical lifeline, offering up to two nights of emergency housing while long-term solutions are pursued.
