The Washington High School Lady Hatchets varsity volleyball team has received both state and national recognition for academic excellence. The team earned the IHSVCA Team Academic Award, an honor given to only 63 of more than 400 high school volleyball programs across Indiana. In addition, the team received the AVCA Team Academic Award at the national level for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 during the 2024-2025 academic year. Congratulations to the players, coaching staff, parents, and educators for their outstanding commitment to academic success. A plaque from the AVCA will be presented to the school in recognition of this achievement.
