A Sullivan man died Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Springhill Drive and McDaniel Road in Vigo County. According to Indiana State Police, 70-year-old Rickie Killion of Sullivan failed to stop at a red light while heading west on Springhill Drive and attempted to turn south onto McDaniel Road. His vehicle was struck by a northbound pickup truck driven by 67-year-old Kenneth Sullivan of Citrus Heights, California. Killion’s vehicle rolled over and came to a stop. He was taken to a Terre Haute hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Sullivan and two passengers were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
