The Vincennes City Council on Monday approved a final tax abatement for Schott North America.
Schott plans to invest $1.8 million in new manufacturing equipment at its Chestnut Street facility, supporting the addition of a fourth production line.
The council approved the abatement 4-1.
No public comments were made during the hearing.
