Daviess Community Hospital has announced Jill Sluder, FNP-C, as its new surgical services manager, starting Aug. 3. Sluder brings more than eight years of surgical nursing experience to the role, including time as a nurse practitioner with DCH’s Washington Surgical Associates. A Washington native, she began her career at St. Vincent Evansville before returning home to work in DCH’s operating room. She later earned her master’s degree from Chamberlain University and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2021. Sluder says she’s proud to serve her hometown and looks forward to helping DCH continue providing high-quality surgical care close to home.
