The Daviess County Family YMCA is inviting families to a free afternoon of fun and activities during its annual Healthy Kids Day, happening today from 12 to 4 p.m. The event includes a petting zoo from 12 to 1, open swim from 2 to 3, and ninja fitness from 3 to 4, plus special appearances by Zax Creamery and a DCH ambulance tour. Kids can enjoy face painting, bracelet crafts, outdoor games, and more. Families will also have the chance to enter a raffle for backpacks filled with school supplies and goodies, and get information on After School Child Care registration. Free health screenings and local resource vendors will also be on-site.
