Vincennes is going to be a busy place as the Cal Ripken World Series kicks off with opening ceremonies at 5pm today.
The city hosted the event back in 2018, and it brought an economic boost of over $5 million to the community.
Teams from all over the world will be in town, including the Philippines, Mexico, Germany, and Aruba.
A total of 24 nine- and ten-year-old teams will be competing. Pool play will begin on Saturday.
Good luck to the local Vincennes team in the competition.
