SBA Disaster Relief Deadline Approaching for Southern Indiana

The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding Indiana residents, businesses, and nonprofits affected by the June 28–July 2 storms and flooding that the deadline to apply for federal disaster loans is Sept. 16. The declaration covers Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Knox, Martin, and Pike counties. Small businesses and nonprofits may borrow up to $2 million for repairs or replacements of real estate, equipment, or inventory. Homeowners may apply for up to $500,000 to repair or replace a primary residence, while renters and homeowners may seek up to $100,000 for personal property losses. Applications can be submitted online at sba.gov/disaster.
