Daviess Community Hospital’s annual Oncology Cookout on Aug. 13 raised $2,183 to support local cancer patients through the hospital’s Oncology Patient Assistance Fund. About 170 people attended the fundraiser, which helps patients cover costs for treatment, medications, transportation, and basic needs. The event was made possible through contributions from the DCH Auxiliary, local businesses, volunteers, and community partners.
