Ashley Willis, Executive Director of the Pike County Economic Development Corporation and President of the Southwest Indiana Development Council, is working to expand European investor relations through the Transatlantic Business and Investment Council (TBIC). As part of TBIC, Willis recently attended the group’s annual conference in Chicago, which connected U.S. communities with international investors, site selectors, and industry leaders. She emphasized that building strong relationships with European companies is key to attracting new business and industry to southwest Indiana. Southwest Indiana Development Council’s membership in TBIC provides ongoing access to networking events, project information, and international business opportunities.
