The community is mourning the passing of Dr. Darrell Deem, a longtime dentist, husband, father, and friend who dedicated more than 40 years to caring for patients in Daviess County. Dr. Deem was a trusted caregiver who made every smile brighter, and was a light in the community. Dr. Deem had stepped back from a full-time schedule but remained involved at Deem Dentistry, working alongside his son, Dr. Austin Deem. In his own words, he expressed pride in seeing the practice continue under his son’s care, ensuring patients received the same level of compassion and excellence he valued throughout his career. Deem Dentistry has asked for patience as the office adjusts its schedule during this difficult transition and encourages the community to keep the Deem family in their thoughts and prayers.
