A woman was struck and killed Saturday morning at the Love’s Truck Stop off U.S. 41 and Harlan Drive.
Authorities say the crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. when a truck backing into a parking space hit the woman.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office reports the driver tested negative for drugs and alcohol.
The incident remains under investigation.
