This week’s Gettin’ in the Know with Greg Bateman looks ahead to the 5th annual Hindostan Days, set for Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bill Green with the Martin County Historical Society joins Greg to share how the event has grown since its first year and what visitors can expect this time around. The festival will feature more than 80 vendors, live music, kids’ activities, historical displays, and even “mountain men” reenactors offering a glimpse into frontier life. New this year is a special tent for young entrepreneurs, where local students will showcase their crafts and products. Food, games, history, and community spirit all come together at Hindostan Days, rain or shine.
