The 5th annual Hindostan Days festival is set for Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Martin County. Bill Green of the Martin County Historical Society joined Gettin’ in the Know with Greg Bateman to preview this year’s event. The festival has grown rapidly since its start, now drawing thousands of visitors with more than 80 vendors, live music, kids’ activities, and historical displays. New this year is a special “young entrepreneurs” tent featuring local students selling their own crafts and products. Guests can also expect frontier reenactors, food, and a full lineup of music. Parking improvements and volunteer traffic guides will make arrival easier. Hindostan Days is free to attend and will be held rain or shine.
