WHS Class of 2001 football alumni will host a BBQ fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 3, at Hatchet Hollow during the Washington vs. Gibson Southern matchup. Food will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., or until sold out. The menu features pulled pork sandwiches with chips and water for $15, with turkey tenders available for an additional $5. The cookout is being presented by members of the WHS Class of 2001 football alumni, with support from Perdue Farms and Odon Locker. Proceeds will benefit Washington Youth Football and Cheer programs.
