AgroRenew announced Friday that its plans to build a manufacturing facility in Knox County have been put on hold due to ongoing delays in equipment deliveries and financial challenges related to international supply issues. While the company says it remains committed to the project, the setbacks have affected both the construction timeline and the project’s current viability. In cooperation with the Knox County Indiana Development Corporation (KCIED), AgroRenew has returned the Elkhorn Road property to KCIED and will repay grant funds previously provided as part of economic development incentives. The company has also pledged to reimburse local investors and continues to work with partners on potential applications for its developed technology and formulations.
