Four people were arrested early Tuesday in Knox County after state police discovered heroin and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Vincennes. According to the Indiana State Police, a trooper stopped a vehicle just after midnight and identified the driver, 30-year-old Mariah Lewis, who had an active warrant for child neglect. Due to suspicious circumstances, a Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy and K-9 unit were called to assist. A search of the vehicle uncovered more than 20 grams of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, over 240 syringes, 50 glass pipes, and $1,200 in cash. Lewis and passengers Bryce Cummings (29), Kandace Hawkins (33), and Sarah Liddle (26) were arrested on drug dealing charges and booked into the Knox County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
