Emergency crews were called to a trailer fire Tuesday morning at 301½ South Sycamore Street in Odon. The call came in just after 10 a.m., reporting smoke coming from the back of the home. The Odon Volunteer Fire Department, along with Madison Township firefighters and Daviess County EMS, responded to the scene. Everyone inside the residence made it out safely before firefighters arrived. Crews reported heavy white smoke and suspected the fire may have started in the ceiling area. Power was disconnected as a precaution, and Duke Energy was called to assist. The fire was contained and extinguished, with all units clearing the scene just after 11 a.m. No injuries were reported.
