Stephanie Maurine Lankford Clark
June 16, 1962 – November 10, 2025
Stephanie Maurine Lankford Clark, age 63, of Montgomery, Indiana, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 10, 2025 surrounded by her husband, children, and loved ones.
Born on June 16, 1962, in Marion County, Indiana, to Guy Ivan Lankford Sr. and Carole Ann McCauley Lankford, Stephanie lived a life marked by faith and devotion to her family.
On December 16, 2005, she married Billy Gene Clark Jr. Together they built a life centered on family. Stephanie found purpose and joy in caring for those around her; spending years taking care of the disabled, elderly, and children.
Stephanie was a proud mother to her children: Nathan (Leah) Clark, Joshua (Shelly) Clark, Aaron (Melanie) Clark, Mara (Doug) Mounts, Kaitlyn (Glen) Bath, Haley (Andy) Sullivan, and Isaac Clark; and stepchildren Stacey Clark, Amy Clark, and Hannah (Juan) Estrada. She was abundantly blessed with nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were her greatest treasures.
She is also survived by her brothers Corey, Rick, William, Guy Jr., Cary, and Jason, her sister Annie Brown, and many beloved nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Waylon Reavis, and her stepdaughter, Emily Clark.
A woman of steadfast Christian and conservative values; Stephanie had an unshakable love for her family. Her favorite place was her back porch, where she spent countless peaceful moments with her husband, enjoying God’s creation and the blessings of a life well-lived. Stephanie spent countless weekends watching the Colts play football. She savored an afternoon with her rowdy bunch of kids and grandkids.
“When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
John 14:3
Stephanie’s life will continue to inspire her husband and children–her love, her prayers, and her example of quiet strength will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
Private services will be held.
