Huntingburg Police say a Jasper man has been arrested on multiple felony counts related to child exploitation following an investigation sparked by a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Detectives with the Huntingburg Police Department, working as part of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, began investigating 27-year-old Keyen R. Reutepohler after NCMEC reported that a Kik account had uploaded child sexual abuse material. Investigators determined Reutepohler was the user of the account. They say additional evidence of child exploitation, child solicitation, and distribution of obscene material was uncovered through search warrants served on electronic service providers. On November 12, search warrants were executed at locations in Jasper and Huntingburg. The operation involved Huntingburg detectives along with officers from the Jasper Police Department, Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office, and Indiana State Police. Additional electronic evidence was seized and will be analyzed by the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit. Reutepohler was taken into custody the same day and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on the following charges:

4 counts of Level 4 Felony Child Exploitation (Possession of CSAM)

5 counts of Level 5 Felony Child Exploitation (Possession of CSAM)

1 count of Level 5 Felony Child Solicitation

3 counts of A Misdemeanor Distribution of Obscene Matter
