
The Pike County 4-H Council and Pike County Chamber of Commerce are launching the county’s first Opportunity Fair tomorrow, Dec. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 4-H Fair Grounds in Hornady Park. The event is designed to connect students and adults with career paths across trades, military service, training programs, and local employers. Representatives from the National Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force, trade unions, training institutes, and area employers will be on-site, with additional participants still being finalized. Attendees will also have access to résumé help, application guidance, and interview tips.The fair is free and open to all students, homeschoolers, and adults exploring new career opportunities.
