A property-damage crash on U.S. Highway 50 near the Knox County line Wednesday evening left no injuries but temporarily blocked traffic after a truck hit a guardrail and came to rest on the shoulder facing oncoming traffic. The driver initially reported being unable to exit the vehicle due to a stuck door, prompting multiple emergency crews to respond around 6:55 p.m. Deputies later confirmed all occupants were safely out of the truck and Craney’s Wrecker Service removed the vehicle. Officials also notified INDOT about guardrail damage. The incident was cleared by 7:49 p.m.
