Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on East Schonberger Drive near Odon. The call came in just after 2 p.m., reporting one person suffering shortness of breath and leg pain, and another initially trapped inside a vehicle. Multiple agencies — including Odon Volunteer Fire Department, Madison Township Fire, and Daviess County EMS — arrived within minutes. Medics transported at least one patient to IU Health Bloomington Hospital, while another driver received a ride home from deputies after the scene was cleared. Two vehicles were towed from the crash site. Deputies later issued one driver a citation for operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. The accident remains under investigation.
